ALCOTAN-100 (M2) weapon system
This 100 mm shoulder-launched weapon system with confined-space firing capability, supports a wide range of munitions: anti-tank, dual-purpose, anti-bunker, and multipurpose.
The system mainly consists of a disposable launcher tube housing the projectile, and an integrated mechano-electronic interface for attaching a reusable fire control unit.
The ALCOTAN-100 (M2) can engage a wide variety of targets, including main battle tanks equipped with the most advanced armour (ERA). Its outstanding performance, extended range, and high single-shot hit probability (SSHP) make it a benchmark solution for infantry forces in any operational scenario.
The VOSEL (M2) fire control unit, equipped with an image intensifier tube, and the VOSEL (M2)-IR, with a thermal camera, provide night vision capability and full operational effectiveness under all conditions.
The system also offers dedicated training solutions, both in the field—through the TR-ALC (M2) subcalibre trainer—and indoor, with the SAARA (M2) simulator.
VOSEL (M2) and VOSEL (M2)-IR
Cutting-edge fire control units designed and manufactured by INSTALAZA for use with all ALCOTAN‑100 (M2) munitions and with the TR-ALC (M2) subcalibre trainer.
They enable the operator to perform the complete aiming and firing sequence, calculating the predicted point of impact (PPI) based on target distance, speed, and trajectory, as well as propellant temperature and the type of munition.
Two versions available: VOSEL (M2), equipped with an image intensifier tube, and VOSEL (M2)-IR, featuring a thermal camera.
