INSTALAZA cares about the environment

INSTALAZA participates in the Incentives Programme linked to self-consumption and storage with renewable energy sources within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

In line with our policy of orienting the company’s environmental management towards the rational use of natural resources and preventing pollution, INSTALAZA has started up a photovoltaic plant at its facilities on the Autovía Mudéjar.

In addition to partially satisfying the energy demand with natural resources of renewable origin, we have achieved a significant reduction in the environmental impact of our activities, facilities, processes and services. Specifically, the objectives set with this photovoltaic plant have led to the following environmental benefits:

  • CO2 emissions into the atmosphere have been reduced by 16.4 t/year.
  • SO2 emissions into the atmosphere have been reduced by 23.6 t/year.
  • NOX emissions into the atmosphere have been reduced by 33.3 t/year.

This is equivalent to the annual consumption of 17 households or the planting of 98 trees.

The investment in this photovoltaic installation has been backed by both the European Union and the Governments of Aragon and Spain, receiving financial aid from the programme of incentives linked to self-consumption and storage with renewable energy sources as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds. The Official Gazette of Aragon has published the Order of the Department of Industry, Competitiveness and Business Development that announced the granting of this subsidy.
